street children village
for over 10 years, our association New Generation has always paid rent for homes for orphans from the streets.
Lately some of the houses were close by lack of funding, this has been the most difficult ti,e in the history of our organization. that's the reason we decided to build homes for those children in a village that belong to New Generation.
after obtaining land to build and in partnership with Street Action UK, a first home is in construction, we still need to build more houses, if you wish to support this important project, you can give by clicking this link: http://www.justgiving.com/NewGenerationVillage

building a 500-seat multipurpose room, two offices and two classrooms
we were able to open a Christian Leadership Center, as you know one of the biggest problem in Africa and Burundi in particular is a poor leadership, characterized by corruption, dishonesty and violence; our movement is committed to identify, train and empower young future leaders, on the basis of values of forgiveness, tolerance, honesty, justice and peace.
We find sufficient space to build a 500-seat multipurpose room, two offices and two classrooms, we have not yet completed construction but we are already working in.
The OCC's activities are mainly:
-Training of leadership in music, English language,
- A library, a library and a computer room
- A chapel
- Supervision of children in the street;

Introduction
After nearly 15 years of civil war, Burundi has emerged to a state of fragile peace. Neighboring Rwanda has set a tone of expectation with its development since the 1994 Genocide and many are willing to help Burundi achieve the same. Independents and organizations alike are joining in the effort to break down the political, religious, and tribal barriers which paralyzed the country during the war. They are anxious to begin building peace.
New Generation is seen as one pioneer of this cause as they strived to make a space for everyone. Founder, Dieudonne Nhahimana was moved to action by the reality of poverty exhibited in children living on the street. The haze of war had lifted, leaving behind a sobering scene of lost, hurt, and hungry people. Dieudonne looked around and instead, pictured a future where each starving soul became a new creation, unified in Christ, having one father and one identity. He could see that within a context where people had nothing but faith in God, it was possible make this transformation.
